Terms of Service
Terms of Service and conditions for using the Silent PRogression network.
1.Introduction#
Welcome to the Silent PRogression Gaming Community ("SPR", "we", "our", or "us").
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SPR platform, including the website, authenticated services, community features, hosted game servers, editorial content, APIs, events, and any other services operated under the Silent PRogression ecosystem.
By accessing or using any SPR service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must discontinue use of the platform.
These Terms should be read together with the following documents, which form an integral part of the legal framework governing the SPR platform:

2.About Silent PRogression#
Silent PRogression Gaming Community is an independent online gaming community focused on building long-term multiplayer experiences, educational content, collaborative communities, and gaming infrastructure.
The SPR ecosystem currently includes services such as:
- Official community website
- Discord authentication
- Community member accounts
- Editorial and educational content
- Hosted game servers
- Optional game account integrations
- Community events
- SPR Web Radio
- Future services developed under the SPR ecosystem
SPR is an independent community project.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, SPR is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially associated with Discord Inc., Riot Games, Valve Corporation, Pocketpair, Keen Games, Cloudflare, or any other publisher, developer, or service provider referenced by the platform.
All trademarks, game titles, logos, artwork, and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.
3.Acceptance of these Terms#
By accessing the SPR platform, creating an account, authenticating through Discord, participating in community activities, or using any hosted service, you agree to comply with these Terms.
Your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any future revisions to these Terms after they become effective.
If you use SPR on behalf of an organization, clan, team, or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
4.Eligibility#
To use the SPR platform, you must:
- be at least 13 years of age, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country of residence;
- comply with all applicable laws;
- use a valid Discord account for authentication where required;
- provide accurate information where requested;
- use the platform only for lawful purposes.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account.
SPR is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from the compromise of your Discord credentials.
If you believe your account has been compromised, you should immediately secure your Discord account and notify the SPR administrators where appropriate.
5.Member Accounts#
Authentication to the SPR platform is currently provided exclusively through Discord OAuth.
SPR does not create local passwords and never receives or stores your Discord password.
Following successful authentication, an SPR community account may be created using information provided by Discord.
Members are responsible for:
- maintaining accurate account information where applicable;
- complying with these Terms;
- protecting access to their Discord account;
- ensuring that activities performed through their account comply with community rules.
Members may not:
- impersonate another individual or organization;
- share accounts for the purpose of bypassing restrictions;
- intentionally provide false identity information;
- attempt to gain unauthorized privileges within the platform.
SPR reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the security or integrity of the community.
6.Community Conduct#
SPR exists to foster a respectful, collaborative, and welcoming gaming community.
By participating in the platform, you agree to conduct yourself responsibly and respectfully toward other members.
Users must not:
- harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse other members;
- discriminate against individuals or groups;
- publish unlawful, defamatory, or fraudulent content;
- distribute malware or malicious software;
- attempt to compromise the security of the platform;
- exploit software bugs or vulnerabilities;
- interfere with the normal operation of hosted services;
- evade suspensions or administrative actions.
Additional rules may apply to specific services, hosted game servers, tournaments, events, or future community systems.
Failure to comply with community rules may result in warnings, temporary restrictions, suspension, or permanent removal from the platform.
7.User Content#
SPR allows members to create, submit, publish, or share content through various community features.
User Content may include, but is not limited to:
- profile information;
- comments;
- forum posts (when available);
- event registrations;
- screenshots;
- images;
- videos;
- uploaded files;
- suggestions;
- feedback;
- other community contributions.
You remain the owner of the intellectual property rights in the content you create.
By submitting User Content through the SPR platform, you grant SPR a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
- host;
- store;
- reproduce;
- display;
- distribute;
- moderate;
- archive;
your content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, promoting, and improving the SPR platform.
This license automatically terminates when the content is permanently removed from the platform, except where limited retention is necessary for legal, security, backup, or community integrity purposes.
You are solely responsible for the content you publish.
You represent and warrant that:
- you own the necessary rights to publish the content; or
- you have obtained all required permissions from the rights holder.
You must not publish content that:
- infringes intellectual property rights;
- violates applicable law;
- contains malware or malicious code;
- promotes illegal activity;
- contains hate speech or unlawful discrimination;
- invades another person's privacy;
- is fraudulent or intentionally misleading.
SPR reserves the right to remove or restrict access to User Content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
8.Hosted Services#
SPR may operate hosted services, including dedicated multiplayer game servers and other online infrastructure.
Hosted services are provided on a best-effort basis.
SPR does not guarantee:
- uninterrupted availability;
- continuous uptime;
- permanent storage of game data;
- compatibility with future game updates;
- availability of any specific hosted service.
Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure upgrades, emergency maintenance, software updates, or circumstances outside SPR's control may temporarily interrupt service availability.
Hosted game servers may enforce additional rules specific to each game.
These rules may cover topics including:
- fair gameplay;
- cheating;
- exploitation of bugs;
- griefing;
- server-specific administration;
- character or world management;
- participation requirements.
Failure to comply with server-specific rules may result in removal from the affected hosted service without affecting access to other parts of the SPR platform.
SPR Web Radio (Apollo)
SPR operates a Web Radio service providing continuous audio streams for the community.
By tuning in to the SPR Web Radio, you agree that the stream is provided strictly for personal, non-commercial listening. You may not:
- record, rip, or otherwise save the audio stream;
- re-stream, re-broadcast, or syndicate the audio feed to external platforms;
- attempt to bypass any stream access controls.
Any applicable music licensing is maintained by SPR for the purpose of the platform's direct stream. Users who re-broadcast the stream assume all legal liability for copyright infringement.
9.Intellectual Property#
Unless otherwise stated, the SPR platform, including its design, branding, original graphics, logos, documentation, articles, software, source code, written content, and other original materials are the intellectual property of Silent PRogression Gaming Community or its respective licensors.
These materials are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
Nothing in these Terms grants ownership of SPR intellectual property to users.
You may not, without prior written permission:
- reproduce;
- distribute;
- modify;
- publicly display;
- commercially exploit;
- reverse engineer (where prohibited by law);
- create derivative works based upon SPR proprietary materials.
Nothing in this section restricts rights granted under applicable copyright exceptions or other mandatory legal provisions.
Game titles, trademarks, logos, artwork, and other third-party intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification, compatibility, editorial, or community purposes where applicable.
10.Third-Party Services#
SPR integrates with selected third-party services in order to provide specific functionality.
Examples include:
- Discord
- Riot Games
- Cloudflare
- Cloudflare R2
- Umami Analytics
These services operate independently from SPR.
Your use of third-party services is governed by the respective provider's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
SPR is not responsible for:
- the availability of third-party services;
- third-party security practices;
- third-party privacy practices;
- third-party service interruptions;
- changes made by third-party providers.
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only and do not constitute endorsement by SPR.
11.Disclaimer of Warranties#
The SPR platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SPR makes no warranties or representations regarding:
- uninterrupted availability;
- continuous operation;
- freedom from defects;
- compatibility with every device or browser;
- complete accuracy of all information;
- permanent availability of hosted services.
While SPR makes reasonable efforts to maintain secure and reliable services, no online platform can guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Users assume responsibility for their own use of the platform.
12.Limitation of Liability#
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Silent PRogression Gaming Community shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the use of the platform.
This limitation includes, without limitation:
- loss of data;
- loss of game progress;
- business interruption;
- loss of profits;
- service interruptions;
- hardware or software failures;
- unauthorized access caused by third parties.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.
13.Indemnification#
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Silent PRogression Gaming Community, its administrators, moderators, contributors, and volunteers from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:
- your violation of these Terms;
- your unlawful use of the platform;
- your violation of the rights of another person or organization;
- content you publish through the platform;
- misuse of hosted services.
This obligation applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
14.Suspension and Termination#
SPR reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate access to any part of the platform where reasonably necessary to protect the community, the infrastructure, or compliance with these Terms.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
- violations of these Terms;
- repeated violations of community rules;
- abusive or disruptive behaviour;
- cheating or exploitation of hosted game services;
- attempts to compromise platform security;
- fraudulent activity;
- unlawful conduct.
Where appropriate, SPR may apply progressive enforcement measures before permanent termination.
These measures may include:
- warnings;
- temporary restrictions;
- temporary suspensions;
- permanent account suspension;
- permanent exclusion from specific hosted services.
Termination of access to one service does not necessarily affect access to all other SPR services.
SPR may also suspend or discontinue any service where required for technical, operational, legal, or security reasons.
15.Reporting Violations#
If you believe that another user has violated these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or the Server Rules, we encourage you to report the violation.
Reports can be submitted:
- directly to a Moderator or Administrator on the SPR Discord server;
- via email to [email protected].
SPR investigates all good-faith reports and takes appropriate action to protect the community. Abuse of the reporting system, such as submitting false reports to harass another member, is itself a violation of these Terms.
16.Changes to these Terms#
SPR may update these Terms from time to time to reflect:
- changes in applicable legislation;
- new platform functionality;
- infrastructure improvements;
- operational practices;
- community services.
Whenever material changes are introduced, the Last Updated date at the beginning of this document will be revised.
Where appropriate, significant updates may also be announced through official SPR communication channels.
Continued use of the platform after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
If you do not agree with a revised version of these Terms, you must discontinue use of the platform.
17.Severability#
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court or other competent authority, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Any invalid provision shall be interpreted, to the extent possible, in a manner that most closely reflects its original intent while remaining legally enforceable.
18.Entire Agreement#
These Terms, together with the following documents, constitute the entire agreement between you and SPR regarding your use of the platform:
- Privacy Policy;
- Cookie Policy;
- Community Guidelines;
- Server Rules;
- DMCA & Copyright Policy;
- Disclaimer;
- additional rules applicable to specific services.
These documents supersede any previous statements or understandings relating to the use of the SPR platform.

20.Governing Law#
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Hellenic Republic.
Where applicable, relevant provisions of European Union law shall also apply.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Hellenic Republic, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights granted to consumers or users under applicable law.
21.Language#
These Terms of Service are available in both English and Greek.
Both language versions are provided for the convenience of the SPR community.
In the event of any inconsistency or ambiguity between translations, the English version shall prevail.
