Community Guidelines
Community Guidelines and expectations for Silent PRogression members.
1.Welcome#
Welcome to the Silent PRogression Gaming Community.
These Community Guidelines explain the standards of behaviour expected from everyone participating in the SPR ecosystem.
Our goal is not simply to build another gaming community.
Our goal is to build a community that people enjoy returning to.
Whether you are joining our Discord server, reading articles, participating in events, listening to SPR Radio, or playing on one of our hosted game servers, these Guidelines apply whenever you interact with the SPR community.
These Guidelines complement our:
Additional rules may apply to individual games, tournaments, or hosted servers.
2.Our Philosophy#
Silent PRogression was built around a simple idea:
Respect creates better communities than punishment.
We believe communities grow when members:
- respect each other;
- help new players;
- communicate constructively;
- compete fairly;
- contribute positively.
We are not trying to create the largest community.
We are trying to build one that people are proud to be part of.
Every member contributes to that goal.
3.Respect for Others#
Treat every member with respect.
People come from different countries, cultures, backgrounds, skill levels, and age groups.
Disagreement is normal.
Disrespect is not.
You must not:
- harass other members;
- threaten others;
- bully or intimidate anyone;
- encourage self-harm;
- use hate speech;
- discriminate against individuals or groups;
- repeatedly provoke or target another member;
- intentionally create a hostile environment.
Healthy discussions are encouraged.
Personal attacks are not.
Remember that behind every username is a real person.
4.Fair Play#
SPR supports honest and fair gameplay across every game we host.
You may not:
- cheat;
- use unauthorized third-party software;
- exploit bugs or unintended mechanics;
- duplicate items through exploits;
- abuse server vulnerabilities;
- intentionally disrupt fair gameplay;
- evade legitimate game bans.
If you discover a bug or exploit, report it instead of abusing it.
Helping improve the community is always appreciated.
5.Community Behaviour#
Every action contributes to the atmosphere of the community.
We encourage members to:
- welcome new players;
- answer questions whenever possible;
- share knowledge and experience;
- collaborate with others;
- provide constructive feedback;
- contribute positively to discussions.
The following behaviour is not permitted:
- intentionally provoking arguments;
- repeated disruptive behaviour;
- spamming messages or reactions;
- excessive trolling;
- impersonating staff members;
- deliberately spreading misinformation;
- attempting to manipulate community systems or events.
Competitive gaming is encouraged.
Creating unnecessary conflict is not.
6.Communication Standards#
Communication should remain respectful, constructive, and appropriate for a diverse gaming community.
Members should:
- remain polite during discussions;
- respect differing opinions;
- avoid unnecessary profanity directed at others;
- communicate clearly when participating in events or team activities.
The following content is prohibited:
- hate speech;
- extremist content;
- threats of violence;
- harassment;
- targeted abuse;
- sexually explicit content;
- illegal content;
- malicious links;
- phishing attempts;
- scams;
- unsolicited advertisements;
- repeated self-promotion outside designated channels.
Humour is welcome.
Harassment disguised as humour is not.
7.User-Generated Content#
Members are responsible for everything they publish through the SPR platform.
Before posting content, ask yourself:
- Is it respectful?
- Is it appropriate?
- Does it contribute positively?
- Does it comply with the law?
- Does it respect another person's rights?
You may not upload content that:
- infringes copyright;
- violates another person's privacy;
- contains malware;
- promotes illegal activity;
- encourages cheating;
- impersonates another person;
- intentionally spreads false information.
By publishing content within the community, you confirm that you have the necessary rights to share it.
SPR reserves the right to remove content that violates these Guidelines, the Terms of Service, or applicable law.
8.Voice Channels#
Voice channels should remain welcoming and respectful to everyone participating.
Members using voice channels should:
- avoid excessive background noise;
- avoid intentionally disrupting conversations;
- use appropriate language;
- respect moderator instructions;
- avoid talking over other participants.
The following behaviour is prohibited:
- microphone spam;
- soundboards used to disrupt conversations;
- excessive volume;
- harassment over voice;
- recording conversations where prohibited by applicable law;
- impersonating staff members.
Moderators may temporarily mute, disconnect, or remove participants where necessary to maintain a positive environment.
9.Hosted Game Servers#
Each SPR hosted server may publish additional game-specific rules.
These rules supplement—not replace—these Community Guidelines.
Examples include:
- Pal Odyssey
- Enshrouded
- Counter-Strike 2
- Lineage II High Five
- future hosted games
Players are expected to:
- respect administrators;
- avoid exploiting bugs;
- report technical issues;
- avoid griefing;
- avoid cheating;
- respect server-specific gameplay rules.
Failure to follow server rules may result in removal from that hosted service without affecting access to the rest of the SPR platform where appropriate.
10.Enforcement#
The purpose of moderation is to protect the community, not to punish its members.
SPR moderators and administrators aim to resolve issues fairly, consistently, and proportionally.
Depending on the severity and frequency of a violation, enforcement actions may include:
- friendly reminders;
- informal guidance;
- official warnings;
- temporary communication restrictions;
- temporary suspension from specific services;
- temporary account suspension;
- permanent removal from specific hosted services;
- permanent removal from the SPR community.
Not every situation requires every step.
Serious violations may result in immediate action without prior warning.
Examples include:
- hate speech;
- credible threats;
- distribution of malware;
- cheating affecting other players;
- severe harassment;
- illegal activity;
- attempts to compromise the security of the platform.
Moderation decisions are made in good faith with the objective of maintaining a safe and welcoming community for everyone.
11.Reporting Violations#
Community members are encouraged to report behaviour that violates these Guidelines.
Reports help us protect the community and improve the overall experience.
When submitting a report, please provide as much relevant information as possible, including:
- usernames;
- dates and times;
- screenshots where available;
- video recordings where appropriate;
- links to messages or content;
- any additional context that may assist the investigation.
Submitting intentionally false or malicious reports may itself constitute a violation of these Guidelines.
SPR reviews reports confidentially whenever reasonably possible.
However, we cannot guarantee that every moderation action or investigation outcome will be disclosed publicly.
12.Appeals#
If you believe that a moderation decision was made in error, you may submit an appeal.
Appeals should:
- remain respectful;
- clearly explain why you believe the decision should be reviewed;
- include any relevant evidence;
- avoid abusive or repetitive submissions.
Submitting an appeal does not guarantee that a decision will be changed.
Each appeal is reviewed individually based on the available information.
Repeated harassment of moderators regarding the same decision may result in additional moderation action.
13.Changes to these Guidelines#
SPR may update these Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect:
- changes in community needs;
- new platform features;
- hosted game services;
- legal requirements;
- operational improvements;
- moderation experience.
Whenever significant changes are made, the Last Updated date at the beginning of this document will be revised.
Where appropriate, important updates may also be announced through official SPR communication channels.
Continued participation in the SPR community after updated Guidelines become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised version.

Silent PRogression was never intended to be the biggest gaming community.
It was created to become a place where people enjoy playing together, learning together, and growing together.
Every member contributes to that vision.
Silent isn't weakness.
Progression isn't speed.
Respect comes first.
