This Cookie Policy explains how the Silent PRogression Gaming Community ("SPR", "we", "our", or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit or interact with the SPR platform.

SPR is committed to minimizing the use of cookies wherever possible.

3.Cookies Used by SPR#

SPR does not intentionally deploy:
- advertising cookies;
- behavioral tracking cookies;
- affiliate tracking cookies;
- cross-site marketing cookies;
- third-party advertising technologies.
Browser storage technologies such as Local Storage or Session Storage may also be used where technically appropriate instead of cookies.
These technologies are used only to support platform functionality and do not change the privacy principles described in this policy.
4.Authentication Cookies#
SPR currently supports authentication exclusively through Discord OAuth.
Once authentication has been completed successfully, the platform uses secure session cookies to maintain your authenticated session.
These cookies are required to:
- keep you signed in;
- protect your account;
- validate authenticated requests;
- prevent session hijacking;
- maintain secure communication between your browser and the platform.
Authentication cookies do not contain your Discord password.
They expire according to the platform's authentication configuration or when you sign out.
5.Analytics#
SPR operates a self-hosted instance of Umami Analytics.
Umami is configured to provide privacy-focused website analytics without creating advertising profiles or tracking users across unrelated websites.
Analytics are used exclusively to understand:
- which pages are visited most frequently;
- how visitors navigate the website;
- overall website performance;
- areas where usability can be improved.
Analytics data is used only in aggregate form for operational decision-making and platform improvements.
SPR does not use analytics to:
- identify individual visitors for advertising purposes;
- sell visitor information;
- perform cross-site behavioral tracking;
- create marketing profiles.
6.Third-Party Services#
SPR integrates with a limited number of carefully selected third-party services where they are necessary to provide specific platform functionality.
Each third-party provider operates under its own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
SPR encourages users to review those policies before using the associated services.

SPR does not control cookies or similar technologies that may be set directly by third-party services outside the SPR platform.
7.Managing Cookies#
Most modern web browsers allow you to manage, restrict, or delete cookies at any time.
Depending on your browser, you may be able to:
- view stored cookies;
- delete existing cookies;
- block future cookies;
- allow cookies only for selected websites;
- receive notifications before cookies are stored.
Please note that disabling essential cookies may prevent certain parts of the SPR platform from functioning correctly.

- Discord authentication may not function properly;
- secure user sessions may not be maintained;

8.Do Not Track (DNT)#
Some browsers support a "Do Not Track" (DNT) preference.
Because there is currently no universally accepted technical standard governing DNT signals, the SPR platform does not respond differently based solely on a browser's DNT setting.
Regardless of DNT support, SPR follows the privacy principles described in this Cookie Policy and does not use advertising or behavioral tracking technologies.
9.Changes to this Cookie Policy#
SPR may update this Cookie Policy from time to time in order to reflect:
- changes in applicable legislation;
- changes to browser technologies;
- changes to platform functionality;
- infrastructure improvements;
- operational practices.
Whenever material changes are introduced, the Last Updated date at the beginning of this document will be updated.
Where appropriate, significant changes may also be communicated through official SPR communication channels.
Continued use of the platform after the effective date of any revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Cookie Policy.

11.Governing Law#
This Cookie Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Hellenic Republic and, where applicable, the directly applicable provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation) and other applicable legislation governing privacy and electronic communications.
Nothing in this Cookie Policy limits any mandatory rights granted to users under applicable law.

This Cookie Policy is available in both English and Greek.
Both language versions are provided for the convenience of the SPR community.
In the event of any inconsistency or ambiguity between translations, the English version shall prevail.
